Judge Clark Newberry believes in the rule of law, and has dedicated her
professional life to helping others, as a police officer and an attorney.

Judge Clark Newberry is an experienced trial attorney and mediator, she is admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada and California; U.S. District Court, District of Nevada; the Supreme Court of the United States of America; United States District Court, Southern District of California; and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. She also has served as a mediator for the State of Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program from 2009 to 2017, appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court, and the successor program administered by the Eighth Judicial District Court from 2017 to the present. Judge Clark Newberry also served as a mediator via appointment for the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Nevada from 2015-2019. She also has served as a private arbitrator and mediator at the request of private parties.


From her experience and training with the Cincinnati Police Department, Judge Clark Newberry has a unique ability and method for analyzing cases & creating solutions. She has dedicated a significant amount of time to pro-bono work with the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and Nevada Legal Services, and frequently provides education to various professional organizations and attorneys from across the country.

Judge Clark Newberry is one of the few judges with law enforcement, mediator and civil trial experience. She has dedicated her professional life to helping others, and with her unique understanding and service to the entire justice system on the whole, Judge Clark Newberry is highly qualified.
